Chalet Paradiski Catered Chalet

In the heart of the Paradiski (Les Arcs & La Plagne, French Alps) lies a beautifully converted 18th century farmhouse named Chalet Paradiski. Located in what was once a high altitude family village but is now the centre of the World’s second largest ski area. The mountain accommodation with stunning views is set in the picturesque alpine ski resort of Peisey-Vallandry, Les Arcs, France. With friendly hosts, luxury catering, two lounges, large sauna, three fireplaces.

Chalet Paradiski is a newly converted traditional Alpine style 18th century farmhouse. The aged wooden beams running the length of the chalet, rustic detail and surrounding pine forests offer a stunning mountain chalet setting. Traditionally built in local stone and wood with open log fire places, beautiful attention to detail and a large sauna, the chalet is an ideal homely retreat after a day on the mountain.

The chalet sits in a picturesque Les Arcs ski village called Peisey Nancroix. It is part of the Peisey/Vallandry ski area of Les Arcs.

Chalet Paradiski has 2 lounges with large sun facing balcony/terrace and French doors, a small sofa / reading room, 3 open log fire places, sauna room, mini pool table, darts board, wifi internet and two chalet flat-screen pcs. Full details in "facilities" below. Most of the rooms have sun facing breathtaking mountain and valley views, and some have private balconies/French-doors.

The owners welcome all group sizes to come and stay. For between 6 and 23 people Chalet Paradiski is ideal for private chalet bookings. It sleeps up to 23 guests but can be broken down into 2 smaller chalets independent of each other with their own lounges, kitchens etc. sleeping a min. of 6 to a max. of 16. More layout and room details are available, we can send you a floorplan if you wish, just contact us and supply your details and we will get in touch asap.

For bookings smaller than 6 there are weeks available for mixed bookings. So couples, independent travellers, and small groups of friends can also stay.

For your comfort, all bedrooms are equipped with duvets, linen, towels (large size for sauna), hairdryer and some have shaver sockets.

Chalet Paradiski - at the heart of the World's second largest ski area and only 2 minutes walk from the nearest lift. The nearest ski-lift is a short walk from the chalet which drops you off at the entrance to the Vanoise Express cable car and gives access to 3 more lifts (2 of which are high speed). The Vanoise Express is the biggest cable car in the world which links Les Arcs to La Plagne in 4 minutes allowing you to effortlessly experience both resorts in the same day. You can ski and snowboard back all the way to within 10 metres of the chalet off piste and 150 metres on piste.

The traditional Savoyarde Alpine ski village setting to match Chalet Paradiski's equally traditional chalet feel.

With the relaxing lounges with fireplaces, fine food and services such as the new Sauna available to you in the Chalet you may not find time to visit the local bars, restaurants and shops. If you fancy an evening out further afield there is a free local shuttle bus service that connects all the ski villages of the Peisey Vallandry side of Les Arcs. It runs until the early hours. We obviously love the place! Here are some quotes from past visitors and the UK newspapers, who seem to agree with us!

'The Independent' Newspaper

"After a few years of serious investment, Peisey Vallandry is now regarded as a world-class destination for discerning skiers. Peisey-Vallandry has achieved cult status, Check it out before the crowds do.

For intermediate skiers and boarders who want high-mileage cruising each day, Peisey-Vallandry provides a welcome fresh alternative to Méribel and the Trois Vallées. Vallandry and the other villages of Peisey and Nancroix in the Les Arcs ski area used to be regarded as a tree-level bolt-hole, but that changed in December 2003 with the opening of the £12m Vanoise Express, a double-decker cable-car linking Les Arcs to La Plagne.

These two major resorts now form the ski area of Paradiski with 144 lifts and 420km of piste. The ski area tops 3,226m and the bottom is at 1,350m. A new hands-free lift pass adds to skiing convenience.

Peisey-Vallandry, with its wide and well-groomed pistes, is situated just below the cable-car station. From this quiet little base, your biggest decision each day is whether to ski the slopes of Les Arcs or to take the link and explore La Plagne. What Vallandry offers that larger resorts cannot is a true village ambience.

Residences must use local wood and stone: tower blocks are not allowed. A small collection of restaurants, bars and shops offer prices far lower than those in the surrounding big-name resorts. The Tom Pouce day nursery has a secure outdoor play area. Sleigh rides and a cinema add to the attraction for families."
