Situated in the basement of the hotel Curling, this is much more than your average hotel bar. The Crowded certainly lives up to its name and attracts a young mass of mainly British seasonnaires and pro-snowboarders. Jeremy has created one of the best known bars in Tignes, especially amongst the english. Situated in val claret centre, by tufs chairlift and at the bottom of the piste which runs into val claret. Chris the owner, has over the past 5 years created one of the best (if not the best) bars in Tignes. Known as the live-music venue of Tignes, the bar has recently been extended so even more people can cram in for some of the liveliest nights Tignes has to offer.
The Couloir is also the place to go to try out some exotic flavoured vodka, with over 40 different flavours to choose from. Busy both apres-ski and into the night, it is frequented by all nationalities and ages. Tapas also available. And the restaurant upstairs is well worth a visit.

Well worth a look at this log cabin type bar come shop. The expertly hand crafted bar, seats and bears create an experience and atmosphere that is unique to Tignes and wouldn't seem out of place in the middle of nowhere?? The log fires both in and outside only add to alpine atmosphere. Your mum will love it - well for one drink anyway - beware of the prices!!
It's popular during apres-ski to sit on the handcrafted wooden benches on the terrace around the large open fire; if it gets cold you can move inside the cosy and ornately decorated bar and warm up by the fire. A stylish French bar, but without the pretension, le Studio is a place for relaxing in comfortable surroundings and meeting friendly French locals. Well worth a visit and a great change from the sometimes hectic English bars.

One of Tignes best restaurants has expanded slightly and now has a drinking area. Normally to accomodate you while you wait for your table but they will be happy for you to just come for a drink at the bar, soak up the atmosphere and listen to the live music.
