Looking for a quick pizza? Well as the name suggests, this restaurant specialises in pizzas. Always a good choice if you’re in a rush and on a budget. open most of the day.
ituated in val claret centre, up the steps to the left of the sherpa. Kebabs and burgers - the only place you can get food at 2am. Mohamed is the man!!
Situated in val claret centre through a small door next to sport 2000. The Caveau (cave) is a cosy underground restaurant and probably the most atmospheric in Tignes. The food here is of a very high standard with a wide choice including several Thai dishes. The specials are usually something interesting such as pigeon or an unusual take on a fish dish. Those on the lookout for a gastronomic experience will be sure to find it here.
There are two sittings in the evening, the first at around 7.30pm and the second around 9.30pm - it is advisable to book a day or two ahead. If you opt for the later sitting, you can relex or dance off your meal to a blues band, usually accompanied by the owner Thierry on the harmonica, from 11pm until the early hours most nights. The restaurant also has a small but popular bar, which packs out when the band starts playing.

Easily one of our favourites. Situated in val claret centre, upstairs in Couloir. Recently revamped, this steak house is a welcome new addition to one of the val claret bars. The most popular dish is the delicious, but challenging, 500g Yeti steak.
The menu ranges from a reasonably priced but excellent cheese burger with chips and salad to exotic dishes such as kangaroo with mango and barbecue sauce, or high-altitude beef which is cooked at the table in a frying pan and served with chips and a mustard cream sauce. There are also fish and vegetarian dishes available.
Included in the price of the main course are a selection of tapas, to be eaten in the bar with a cocktail or at your table with an aperitif. This place tends to attract a younger crowd and is well worth a visit.
