Fancy a ski area that's an XXL?! The Tignes - Val d’Isère Espace Killy and its 300 kms of slopes will be opening on November 27th 2010,for the duration of the winter season. With 1900m from the top of the Grande Motte Glacier to the heart of the resort, there'll be plenty of powder time this winter! For those who are searching for even more thrill, the Swatch Snowpark, and Nissan Gliss Park will be back in Tignes again for the coming season, along with another highly anticipated X Games Slopestyle course and carefully groomed half pipe in Val Claret.
The Espace Killy Tignes Val d’Isère ski and snowboard area is an awesome winter recreational playground where skiers and boarders love to leave their tracks. The skiable area comprises of 300 Kilometres of ski runs located at altitudes ranging between 1,550 metres and 3,450 metres, at varying levels of difficulty:
· 23 green runs
· 66 blue runs
· 40 red runs
· 27 black runs
In addition to these runs, you can explore:
· 6 slalom courses
· 1 mogul field
· 2 snowparks
· 1 gliss’park
