European X Games event schedule...

The biggest event of the season kicks off in Tignes this week, with some of the biggest names in freestyle descending on our lovely resort and showing us more than a thing or two. Plan your week around the freestyle awesomeness with the Tignes Spirit "Guide to the X Games"...

The Winter X Games Europe Tignes kicks off on Wednesday March 16 and finishes on Friday March 18, 2011 in Tignes, France.

  A host of Winter X Games and Olympic medalists headline the first wave of invited athletes for Winter X Games Europe 2011, to be held for a second consecutive year in Tignes. 

Winter X Games Europe will welcome 150 world-class athletes competing in Snowboard and Skiing events. Among the first wave of invited athletes includes:

- Xavier Bertoni (FRA) – 2009 Winter X Games Ski SuperPipe gold medalist and 2010
Winter X Games Europe silver medalist

- Torah Bright (AUS) – Two-time Winter X Games Snowboard SuperPipe and 2010 Winter
Olympic gold medalist

- Sarah Burke (USA) – Four-time and current defending Winter X Games Ski SuperPipe
gold medalist

- Bobby Brown (USA) – 2010 Winter X Games Ski Slopestyle and Big Air gold medalist

- Kelly Clark (USA) – Three-time and current defending Winter X Games Snowboard
SuperPipe and 2002 Winter Olympic gold medalist

- Torstein Horgmo (NOR) – Two-time and current defending Winter X Games Snowboard
Big Air gold medalist

- Jenny Jones (GBR) – Two-time Winter X Games Snowboard Slopestyle gold medalist

- Kevin Rolland (FRA) – Two-time Winter X Games and defending Winter X Games Europe
Ski SuperPipe gold medalist

- Louie Vito (USA) – Winter X Games 15 Snowboard SuperPipe bronze medalist
