The team from Scotland's premier snowboard coaching project are currently pimping it up in Tignes Spirit accommodation this week. We're proud to be sponsoring the all new LSR project as it launches upon Tignes for the first time and prepares UK groms for the Brits next week.
Following up on their hugely successful week in Morzine last winter, the LSR team have landed in Tignes with a pack of shred-hungry groms who are keen to transfer their skills from the UK's dryslopes to the real snow of the mountains, all in preparation for the mighty BRITS slopestyle and half pipe comps next week in Laax, Switzerland.
High-end freestyle training from experienced head coach Ben Kinnear, the world's best demos and inspiration from world-class X Games athletes, and sponsorship from Tignes Spirit. Surely it's every grom's dream come true!
Head coach Ben Kinnear stated that "the groms can expect the week to include training in the gym from Joel Gray, coach to the Junior British Surfing team, professional photographers on hand to capture the action and input from sponsored Ride riders, as well as finely tuned coaching to help each team member prepare fully for next week's Brits contest in Laax."
One of the lucky participants is Fin Bremner of Aberdeen, who recently won his way to the finals of the Quiksilver RADAR comp. He will be battling it out with other European groms in a bid for the title here in Tignes.
