Mountain Mondays #4

Fourth edition of Mountain Mondays, to keep your snowy dreams alive over the long summer months!

slopestyle at the winter olympics!

A big announcement hit the headlines this week as we were told that slopestyle has been added to the bill for the winter Olympics 2014, due to be held in Sochi, Russia. Both skiers and snowboarders will have the chance to prove their slopestyle prowess against the world's best, so could this be a sign that slopestyle has finally been accepted as a 'mainstream' sport?!

“We are very pleased with the addition of ski and snowboard slopestyle and snowboard special slalom in the Olympic Winter Games programme,” said IOC President Jacques Rogge. “Such events provide great entertainment for the spectators and add further youthful appeal to our already action-packed lineup of Olympic winter sports. We look forward to welcoming all the athletes to Sochi in 2014.”

Looking forward to it already!

Featured apartment

This week's featured apartment is the self-catered Hameau du Borsat apartment in Val Claret. Perfectly located right next to the slopes of Val Claret, this one would be a total winner in X Games week with super easy access to the slopestyle course and halfpipe!
