Dalikfodda

DALIKFODDA MANIFESTO

Part 1: New Zealand 2005

  • • Scoph: What do you think to this?
  • • Sam: Yeah cool man………What is it?
  • • Scoph: Dunno I just designed it.
  • • Sam: What’s it mean?
  • • Scoph: Dunno. But I’m gonna put it on hats… dayglow hats!
  • • Sam: Cool.

Part 2: Tignes 2006

Dalikfodda involves a collective of good friends; riders, artists and photographers. Originally conceived as an excuse to make big day-glow hats, and later developed as an excuse to have a proper metal party in resort, (ever noticed that there’s usually f*ck all good music in French bars?). dalikfodda is, and always will be a rider driven company with an ethos of doing something positive, with no cliques or stereotypes, borne out of the necessity of us having a good time with friends; whether on boards or at the bar.

Part 3: Europe 2007

We've got Nelson Pratt, Josh Wolfie, Ryan Davis, and Mark Ruperelia in Mayerhoffen, Will Hughes and Scoph all over Europe like the dalikfodda missionaries. Graham Macvoy out and about with the Nike team, Hamish McKnight in Morzine, Rich Hookes in Tignes, Chris Edney in Tahoe, and Ian Ashmore and Ed Gunn between the UK and wherever they can find enough floor space to sleep in their board bags.

Back home we have started flowing hats to some skaters and graf painters. We have also got representation in Tignes, Val D’Isere, Deux Alpes, Alpe d’Huez, and other resorts.

Wherever you go this winter, look out for the fluoro gnome hats.Look out for the dalikfodda trip to Eastern Europe, and the end of season rock party at a venue to be arranged.
