Budget restaurant situated in the galerie du Palafour. This is a small snack bar with a big menu; choose from home-made burgers, chips, rotisserie chicken, paninis and pizzas. Be prepared to wait a while for your meal as everything is home-made and cooked to order.
Despite the name, this restaurant has all the hallmarks of an upmarket, trendy place; lovely food, service and interior design. The only exception is the prices - they are all reasonable.
Meals range from pizza and pasta to Savoyarde dishes but their speciality is food with a North African or Asian influence. The tajines are hightly recommended, with a choice of chicken, lamb or sea bass. There is also a wide range of seafood along with vegetarian pizza and main dishes, such as vegetable lasagne. Chocoholics should try the chocolate fondue (which you have to order at the start of your meal). A vibrant restaurant ideal for younger groups.

Situated on le rosset, half-way along the shopping terrace. This is one of Tignes' premier restaurants, with an elaborate and frequently changing menu and an imtimate, typically French interior.
There are two set menus to choose from offering you the chance to sample a combination of haute cuisine and an extensive wine list. Food like this is difficult to find elsewhere in the resort. Booking is advisable as the restaurant only seats about 30 people. Because of its intimacy, it's perfect for a romantic candlelit dinner. Open 7-10pm (lunchtimes and weekends by reservation only).
The Loop is a fantastic venue for après-ski with the best of both worlds, a sun-drenched terrace with a great view, and a large bar with big sofas and a log fire. These attributes added to a brilliant chef make this an ideal lunch stop, the menu has a British feel with crispy duck pancakes, Thai curry and a great Caesar salad, plus the best burgers in the Espace Killy!
At night the bar is exceedingly popular with seasonaires and holidaymakers alike, all enjoying its friendly atmosphere to great tunes and expertly made drinks. The theme parties here are legendary and so are their delicious flavoured vodkas.

A gastronomic experience with a good-value daily formule skier menu. Specialities include rognons de veau and coquilles St Jacques, but you must book in advance.
On its first floor this unpretentious two-star hotel has a dining room and wine list that one would be lucky to find in a good four-star property. Pat the patron is very passionate about his wines — especially those from the Rhone valley - and has many interesting unlisted bottles he is happy to serve to those whom he feels will appreciate them.
Situated in the Galerie du Palafour, just opposite the Palafour lift, this restaurant serves up typical Savoyard dishes as well as lighter snack meals. With plenty of fondue, raclette, tartiflette and croziflette, it's perfect for all cheese-lovers, whilst their steaks will satisfy any meat-eater's appetite. They also serve specialities form the South-west of France, with beautiful foie-gras and confit du canard up for grabs. Laid-bak and relaxed atmosphere which is great for all the family.

Situated in Le Lac centre, next to Maison de Tignes. The restaurant is reasonably priced, comfortable with very friendly service and a varied menu, from regional specialities to international dishes to generous salads.
A pianist plays in the restaurant several evenings a week. Suitable for all the family as food is served non-stop throughout the day (and until 11pm). With a very big south-facing terrace just across from the piste, it's particularly good for lunch.

Reviews
Sarah: Super authentic curries (Thai, amazing), juicy ribs...er...YYUUMMM...great range of dishes, great service ohhh and you gotta try the pasties...Chipie's rocks!
Gaby: As anyone who has spent any time in Tignes will tell you - French takeaways are normally rubbish. Tignes Cuisine is a star in the market and the sustenance of many hungry skiers and snowboarders. The BEST curries!
Located at Le Lac Le Bec Rouge. This is one of the best restaurants in town, they serve a range of excellent local dishes and have a good selection of French wines. It is popular with both the locals and tourists. The prices are a little above average, but the food is well worth the extra.

Situated in the Campanules hotel, le lac rosset, up past the Aiguille Percee hotel and round the top corner. An elegant first class restaurant in the traditional wooden setting of a large hotel.
The cuisine is divine with dishes such as roast lamb cooked until so tender it almost falls apart. The food is well presented and the menu changes often. The only downside is that the drinks and wine are rather expensive.

Situated in le lac, on the main road out of Tignes, turn into first road on the right and it's on the left. Known as "the farm", this restaurant lives up to its' name and is actually the highest winter farm for miles.
Whilst the smell of farmyards might not be for everyone, the unique atmosphere makes for a memorrable evening out. And what better place to eat Savoyarde food than on a Savoyarde farm?
